Time Keepers (TKs) are parents volunteering on gala and competition days. The TK role records the time of a swimmer in one lane during a competition or gala.

Ideally all parents will complete the TK training and supervision about 2 hours total). We can nenver have enough TKs.

Time Managers (TMs) are a great role to support our swimmers. The role is simple and involves simply ensuring swimmers are at the right place during galas and competitions. This is an ideal role for parents who are anyway attending a gala or competition. Ms are not allocated to any particular squad, instead we require one TM per 10 swimmers at any gala/competition.

The roles does have an online training component and requires a DBS check. We can never have enough TMs.

Squad Assistants are parents who support the coaches once or twice per month during a training session to record swimmer times, and support the squad coach with identifying when a swimmer has achieved one of their goals, so this can be celebrated.

It is a new role in the club designed to help each swimmer achieve their individual goals and more easily track their progress. You will be part of recognising these achievements with the squad coach.
