26 of our swimmers attended the Atlantis ‘Christmas Cracker’ Gala on the 29th & 30th November. We had many PB’s, County Times & Medals.
The club achieved 7th Place out of 18 clubs entered in team points, 3 of our swimmers also achieved top 3 in their age group. Congratulations to all our swimmers who participated.
We held our annual Santa Splash gala on Friday 5th December, which raised over £1600 to support the club and enabled many swimmers to achieve PB’s and enter their first ever events! Thank you to everyone who supported the club to enable us to run the event. We are looking to hold a similar event in the spring so keep a look out for the events page on the website!
We hosted the 3rd Round of the National Arena League on Saturday 6 December. After some amazing swims from our team and an unbelievably tense squadron relay, our team finished the round in 1 Place, giving us a final position of 6th overall in the Division 2 East League.
Swimmer of the month will be returning from January 2026! The coaching team will select 1 Male & 1 Female to achieve the award each month. This could be due to achievements both in and out of the pool so please keep us up to date with what your swimmers have been up to!
SUPPORT NEEDED!
As we draw 2025 to a close, we would like to take a the opportunity to say a massive thank you to all of our swimmers, coaches, parents and volunteers. Without this community the club would not be able to function and we wouldn’t be able to support our swimmers in achieving the happiness they deserve in and out of the water!
However, in the past few years, there has been a slow decrease in the volume of volunteers we have getting involved making it more and more difficult to function and meaning relying heavily on the volunteers we do currently have. Our aim in 2026 is to continue to grow the family spirit the club has always held and creating a safe and happy environment for all of our members.
